PISA 2025 – IBE launches the international survey

The Educational Research Institute is once again leading the Polish edition of the international PISA survey. The pilot of the survey will take place in the spring of 2024, with the main survey scheduled for the spring of 2025.

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) will again be conducted with the participation of the Educational Research Institute. The main focus of the PISA 2025 survey is Science and the innovation domain is Learning in a Digital World.

As in the previous edition of the survey (PISA 2022), the National Project Managers are Joanna Kaźmierczak and Krzysztof Bulkowski.

The OECD has appointed a new international consortium to conduct this ninth edition of the survey. The consortium includes:
 The Australian Council for Educational Research, consortium leader
 Open Assessment Technologies, providing the Test Assisté par Ordinateur (TAO) platform
that will be used to administer the survey to students
 CApSTAn, for the translations and adaptations of survey tools
 HallStat, to provide the quality control of the survey tools
 Oxford University Press is preparing the theoretical assumptions of the survey for the main
domain of Science,
 Westat is in charge of sampling for the study

With the launch of the current ninth edition of the PISA survey, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the world’s largest educational survey.
