After the opening of the Global Forum, Jennifer Valcke will provide the current context of global education and will discuss the need for comprehensive curriculum development at all levels, addressing contemporary social needs. Agnieszka Szymczak will introduce the concept of the Graduate Profile in Poland. In this interactive session, a graduate profile design and its implications for implementation will be discussed. Participants will receive a guide on how to participate in the ensuing workshops for best learning experience and meaningful interaction with workshop hosts, reflecting on the concept of a graduate profile. The audience will join the workshop of their choice (registration for a workshop is required). Upon return to the conference location, participants will be asked to share insights from workshops. |

Empowering the Future Workforce: Integrating Student Agency, Teacher Development and Inclusive, Digital Education for Global ChallengesFollowing the workshops, participants will regroup for a collaborative session in a World Café format. This session offers an opportunity for participants to share insights and experiences gained from their visits to educational institutions, drawing on the themes covered in the workshops. The participants will discuss the agency of students in their learning journey, enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills for future employment. They will consider how to adjust pedagogical and counselling approaches to support diverse learners and ensure education is inclusive and globally relevant. They will note how education systems are evolving to meet the demands of a changing global economy as related to skill-sets that prepare students for these challenges. Finally, they will look at how to foster teacher growth to equip teachers to guide students in diverse and evolving educational landscapes. At the end of the discussions, workshop leaders will present key learnings and reflections from workshops exploring key issues in curriculum development.
