The Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute is organising a grant competition. We invite public post-secondary schools (as defined by Article 14(1) of the Act on Education Law) that provide education in the professions included in the classification of vocational education professions to participate.
Premises of the Grant Competition
The winner of the grant competition will take part in a project funded by the grant, which includes collaboration with a vocational college and an employer to prepare and implement a pedagogical experiment in an experimental profession of their choosing.
The winner will also participate in:
- foreign study visits,
- a national debate on how to make the 5th level of the Polish Qualifications Framework more accessible,
- the preparation of recommendations for the development of a concept for post-primary vocational education at the 5th level of the Polish Qualifications Framework.
All activities conducted as part of the grant project will be supported by substantive experts from the Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute.
The proposed experimental profession cannot be one that is already included in the classification of vocational education professions, it must be assigned to level 5 of the Polish Qualifications Framework, and the planned education must be conducted in the form of dual education for a period of 2 semesters.
Grant amount
A grant of between 70,000 and 200,000 PLN is available. There is no contribution required on the part of the grantee. The funds can be used to purchase equipment for the experimental vocational training workshop (materials and equipment), as well as to purchase services and plan allowances for the staff of the post-secondary school who will be involved in all stages of the grant project.
