Progress on the Post-primary School Graduate Profile

A webinar will be held on May 5 to present the third version of the Post-primary School Graduate Profile. The event is open to all interested parties, but registration is required.

IBE PIB conducted public consultations on the Post-primary School Graduate Profile in March and April. These included comments submitted via a form, consultation group meetings (87 people from all regions: students, teachers, parents, representatives of organisations and associations), two information webinars, and several meetings throughout the country.

Experts visited Kielce, Katowice, Jachranka, Rzeszów, Krakow, Łódź, Wadowice, Nowy Sącz, Opole, Tarnów, Nowy Targ, Białystok and Toruń. The premises of the Profile and proposed changes to the education system were presented at meetings held with teachers, educators and heads of educational institutions.

Registration for the webinar is now open

The webinar to be held on May 5 will present the results of the consultations and the changes that have been made to the third working draft of the Post-Primary School Graduate Profile. They will be presented by experts from the Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute (IBE PIB): Dr. Katarzyna Pająk-Załęska and Marcin Marciniak Mierzejewski from the Team for Changes to the Education System. They are directly involved in the work on the Profile, analyse surveys and participate in public consultations throughout the country.

The webinar is open to anyone who is interested in participating. Participants will be able to ask questions and comment live in the Q&A section and via chat.

Registration for the webinar is open until May 5 at 12:00 noon or until all places are filled. Confirmation of registration with a link to the event will be sent after the form has been correctly completed to the e-mail address provided. The registration form is available at this link. The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. and will last one hour.

A recording of the meeting will be available on the IBE PIB website and on the Institute's YouTube channel.

We look forward to your comments

The final version of the document will be ready by the end of June 2025. Therefore, we have an intense period ahead of us – another round of consultations with a wide range of stakeholders. We will be collecting all comments on the draft profile of post-primary school graduates on an ongoing basis. Anyone who would like to comment on the Profile is asked to complete the survey available via the form. An updated version of the document will be published after May 5 on the IBE PIB website.

The next information webinar about the work on the Post-primary School Graduate Profile will take place on June 9. The final version of the document will be presented during an online meeting on June 30. Information on how to register for these meetings will be available on the IBE PIB website.

Pre-schools and primary schools

We invite you to familiarise yourself with the final version of the Graduate Profile of pre-school and primary school graduates ‘The road to change in education’. This is the basis for the work of expert teams preparing proposals for changes to the core curricula for pre-school, early school and primary school education.
