The event was an opportunity to define the role of school superintendents and school inspectors in promoting inclusive practices in education using materials developed in the project implemented by IBE PIB.
The meeting of the “Accessible School for All” project team with school inspectors, held on February 24 at the headquarters of IBE PIB, was devoted to the role of school superintendents and school inspectors in promoting inclusive practices.
The event was attended by Maciej Jakubowski, PhD – Director of IBE PIB, Izabela Ziętka – Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Education, Elżbieta Neroj – Director of the Department of Inclusive Education at the Ministry of National Education, and UNICEF representative Dr. Aleksandra Duda.
During the meeting, the materials developed in the project (publications, podcasts, videos) supporting inclusive education were discussed, as well as how they may be used in practice in the daily work of school inspectors, including during meetings with the directors of educational institutions.
An important point on the agenda was a workshop on the practical use of the materials prepared in the “Accessible School for All” project on organising psychological and pedagogical support in educational institutions. The meeting ended with a summary and exchange of key conclusions.
We thank all the participants for the productive discussions and their involvement.
