What is worth changing in the Polish education system? Which experiences of foreign systems are worth taking advantage of? We invite you to listen to a conversation between Maciej Jakubowski, PhD. Director of IBE PIB, and Andreas Schleicher of OECD.
The international conference of the OECD Global Forum “Education for the Future. Challenges to Curriculum Design and Effective Implementation”, held on December 16–17 in Warsaw, was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences of education experts from different parts of the world (Summary of the conference).
The Director of the Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute, Maciej Jakubowski, PhD, and Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), addressed the question of which international solutions are worth using in the reform of the Polish education system. They discussed, among other things, the role and functions of the teacher, the importance of cooperation and exchanging experiences in the profession, and why it is worth keeping a close eye on solutions introduced locally in schools or classrooms.
We encourage you to listen to the entire conversation.
