“How to support teachers in organising and monitoring the self-directed learning of pupils. Handbook for school directors” is the next publication in the series “How to support pupils in self-directed learning”. It provides school directors with specific guidelines, tools and tips on the actions that can be taken to effectively support teachers, pupils and parents in developing independent learning skills.
The guide also includes:
- scenarios for teachers’ meetings
- scenarios for meetings with parents
- examples of activities with pupils
- lesson observation and assessment sheets
The materials have been prepared in such a way that they can be printed out, filled in and used in practice. Such pages are marked with the symbol of a printer.
The inspiration for preparing this publication was prompted by the regulation of the Ministry of National Education on changing the approach to homework.
We also encourage you to read the handbooks on supporting pupils in self-directed learning addressed to teachers of grades I–III, IV–VIII and post-primary schools. Additional handbooks for pupils and parents are coming soon.
