Let's Make Inclusion Happen! - Join us online

We are delighted to announce the upcoming conference, "Let's Make Inclusion Happen! Inclusive Education for a Fair, Resilient, and Competitive EU"; scheduled from 17th to 18th March 2025 at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. This event is a pivotal component of Poland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, reflecting our commitment to advancing High-Quality Inclusive Education (HQIE) across Europe.

Conference Overview

The conference aims to foster a comprehensive dialogue on inclusive education, bringing together policymakers, educators, experts, and stakeholders from all EU Member States. Our collective goal is to enhance educational opportunities for all learners by identifying and dismantling barriers within educational systems. This aligns with the principles outlined in the European Pillar of Social Rights and international frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Key Objectives

  • Raise Awareness: Highlight the rights of all learners to HQIE, ensuring that educational systems are accessible and equitable.
  • Promote Dialogue: Facilitate international discussions on implementing inclusive education practices that cater to diverse educational needs.
  • Identify Resources and Challenges: Share existing resources and address challenges in implementing inclusive practices in preschool and school settings.
  • Empower Stakeholders: Amplify the voices of learners and experts to inform recommendations and best practices.
  • Support Policy Development: Assist the European Commission in developing indicators to monitor HQIE implementation across member states.

Programme Highlights

The conference will feature a rich programme, including plenary sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. These sessions are designed to provide participants with insights into effective policies and initiatives that promote accessible and quality educational systems. Topics will cover various aspects of inclusive education, such as early childhood education, vocational training, staff preparation, and the use of modern technologies.

This is a well-structured and informative announcement! Here are a few suggestions to enhance clarity, engagement, and readability:

  1. Enhance the Call to Action: Make the invitation to join online more prominent. A brief, engaging sentence at the beginning or end reinforcing the importance of participation could help.
  2. Bullet Point Consistency: In the "Who Is Invited" section, ensure a parallel structure in the descriptions for better readability.
  3. Slightly More Emphasis on Live Streaming: Since online participation is key, highlighting the availability of recorded sessions could encourage more engagement.
  4. Formatting for Readability: Adding bold or italicized text for emphasis on key dates and actions (e.g., “Live Streaming Access” or “March 17-18, 2025”) can improve skimmability.
