Jarosław Lisiecki appointed Deputy Director of IBE PIB

The Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs of the Institute oversees the activities enabling the day-to-day running of IBE PIB—from administrative and technical support to the organisation of events and publishing activities. His division includes: the Systems Organisation and Support Team, the Events Organisation Team, the Publications Team, the Public Procurement Team and the defence affairs post.

The teams supervised by Mr. Lisiecki are responsible, among other things, for maintaining IT infrastructure and systems, organising conferences and seminars, preparing publications, and managing public procurement. The new Deputy Director’s tasks focus on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Institute’s administrative support functions.

Jarosław Lisiecki is an experienced manager in the areas of administration, human resources and organisational resource management. He specialises in implementing change, managing complex interdisciplinary projects, auditing, process optimisation and creating transparent procedures. As a leader, he focuses on team building and mentoring staff. At IBE PIB, he was previously the Head of the Communications and Organisation Team.

A graduate of the University of Szczecin in economics, he has many years of experience in large Polish compaies and international corporations, including in Central Asia. Between 1994 and 2008, he worked for, among others, Phoenix Pharma, Teva Kutno, CENTRUM Department Stores, and Rockwool Polska. He then worked at the Selena Group (2009–2019), and later at the Polpharma Group and Thales Polska. In recent years, he returned to the pharmaceutical sector, working at Stada Pharm and the Dr Max / Viapharma Group.

In his spare time, he is interested in music and exploring lesser-known places in Poland. His interests include management, logistics, and new technologies, and he prefers to spend his free time with his family and friends surrounded by nature.
