The jury of the IBE PIB competition for the best thesis or doctoral dissertation in the field of education – 2025 edition has selected the winners.
In response to the announcement, 111 works were submitted, including 26 bachelor's, 60 master's and 25 doctoral theses.

After a thorough evaluation of the submitted works, the following awards were granted:
Category of Bachelor’s thesis
1st place (prize of PLN 10,000): Kamila Sławska (SWPS University, Faculty of Social Sciences in Warsaw), thesis entitled: ‘Ścieżki edukacyjne kobiet w spektrum autyzmu zdiagnozowanych w dorosłości – analiza w kontekście polskiego systemu edukacji’ [Educational paths of women on the autism spectrum diagnosed in adulthood – analysis in the context of the Polish education system];
Second place (prize of PLN 8,000): Natalia Szymanko (University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences), thesis entitled ‘Determinants of Intergenerational Mobility: The Role of Institutional Context’;
Third place (prize of PLN 5,000 gross): Maja Żukowska (SWPS University, Faculty of Law and Social Communication in Wrocław), thesis entitled: ‘Projekt aplikacji mobilnej do użytku domowego wspierającej terapię logopedyczną u dzieci z dyslalią w wieku 5 i 6 lat’ [Design of a mobile application for home use to support the speech therapy of children with dyslalia aged 5 and 6].

2nd place (prize of PLN 8,000): Konrad Guzowski (University of the National Education Commission, Kraków, Institute of Psychology), thesis entitled ‘Współrodzicielstwo jako mediator relacji między wsparciem partnerskim a zachowaniami rodzicielskimi u rodziców dzieci w wieku 3–6 lat’ [Co-parenting as a mediator of the relationship between partner support and parenting behaviours in parents of children aged 3–6];
Third place (prize of PLN 5,000): Kamila Kopaczyk (University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Social Sciences), thesis entitled ‘Program adopcji na odległość w Kenii. Bliżej perspektywy dzieci’ [Long-distance adoption programme in Kenya. Closer to the children's perspective];
Honourable mention: Tamara Kasim (SWPS University, Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw), thesis entitled ‘Psychologiczne uwarunkowania osiągnięć akademickich: mediacyjna rola poczucia skuteczności w relacji pomiędzy optymizmem, postrzeganym stresem a wynikami w nauce wśród studentów’ [Psychological determinants of academic achievement: the mediating role of self-efficacy in the relationship between optimism, perceived stress and academic performance among students];
Honourable mention: Wojciech Szymczak (University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences), paper entitled ‘Bread & Salt? Evidence on the impact of Ukrainian refugees in the Polish education system’;
Honourable mention: Alicja Szymańska-Dubowska (University of Warsaw, Faculty of Education), thesis entitled ‘Myślenie algorytmiczne i metody jego pomiaru na poziomie edukacji wczesnoszkolnej’ [Algorithmic thinking and methods of its measurement at the level of early school education];
Honourable mention: Magdalena Biczyk (University of Warsaw, Faculty of Physics), thesis entitled ‘Najtrudniejsze zadania maturalne z fizyki — analiza, diagnoza problemów uczniów oraz propozycje modyfikacji zadań’ [The most difficult physics tasks in the secondary school completion examination — analysis, diagnosis of students’ problems, and proposals for modifying the tasks].
Doctoral thesis category
First place (winner's decision to decline the financial award): Dr. Aleksandra Zielińska (University of Wrocław, Institute of Psychology), for her thesis entitled ‘Navigating creativity: The role of self-regulation in creative action’.
