The PISA 2025 main survey in schools will begin on March 3. Teams of PISA interviewers will conduct the survey in randomly selected post-primary schools and several primary schools across Poland.
Preparations for the main PISA 2025 survey are nearing completion. The survey will take place in 220 randomly selected schools and will last until April 25, 2025. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the directors and staff of the schools for their kind welcome, willingness to cooperate and great involvement in preparing for this important and complex undertaking!
Conducting the main survey is now before us. Danae, the firm selected in a tender procedure, is responsible for conducting the survey in schools. Its employees are responsible for organising and conducting the survey sessions with students. Danae works in close consultation with the National PISA Survey Team at the Educational Research Institute – National Research Institute.
In each school, the survey session will last about three hours. Students will take tests on computers in two randomly assigned domains from among all areas of the survey: reading, mathematics, science and digital skills. They will then be asked to complete a student questionnaire (on their school and home environment, attitudes and opinions) and a questionnaire on the use of information technology (ICT).
The PISA survey has been conducted every three years since 2000 among 15-year-old students. Details about the project, as well as results from previous editions of the survey can be found HERE.
