ReferNet is a network of institutions developed by CEDEFOP (European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training), active since 2002. Its aim is to collect information and monitor developments in the field of vocational education and training (VET) in EU Member States, Iceland and Norway. The network focuses on:
- collecting information on the role, structure and governance system of VET,
- monitoring national policy developments and trends in this area,
- conducting in-depth analyses of the implementation of EU VET guidelines.
ReferNet also supports CEDEFOP’s activities in disseminating information on VET in its member countries.
